April 21, 2011 - PRLog -- For example, Cereplast recently announced the top three designs in its competition to find a new symbol that can be placed on products to identify them as made from bioplastics, the online magazine Eco Composites writes.http://www.caseycontainer.com/presentatons.html

The winning symbol, which will garner a $25,000 prize, should allow consumers to recognize these eco-friendly products quickly and easily. However, competition was tough, as Cereplast and its panel of judges received more than 1,500 design entries.

"Cereplast's competition reflects our commitment to educating and helping consumers make more informed purchasing decisions that have an effect on the health of our environment," said chairman and CEO Frederic Scheer.

While not all businesses can offer graphic designers such a significant prize for their work, there are a number of websites that allow freelance artists and professionals to compete for a contract with a company.
