Midlands businesses sign up to support Kenilworth ShowThe organisers behind one of the Midlands’ most popular agricultural events are celebrating after securing a hat-trick of major deals.
The Kenilworth and District Agricultural Society’s (KADAS) annual Kenilworth Show takes place on Saturday, June 4 and this year will have three main sponsors. Midlands law firm Wright Hassall, independent fuel distributor Rix Petroleum and Mitsubishi main dealer Oak Tree Garages will all have a major presence at the 68th show, which is held opposite the National Agricultural Centre (NAC) in Stoneleigh. Oak Tree Garages, based on Oak Tree Road off the A46 in Binley, is one of the leading Mitsubishi dealers in the region and will be at the show for the second year running, while fifth-generation family owned business Rix Petroleum, based in Coleshill, is also returning as a main sponsor for a second year. Wright Hassall, which has its offices in Leamington, has also had a strong presence at the event for many years and was previously a main sponsor in 2006 and 2007. Show secretary Penny Poulter said securing the backing of businesses with strong links with the agricultural industry was vital to the success of the event.
