Cook Up Some Fun This Weekend at These Baking Workshops

March 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Have a mini chef around the house?  He or she, or the whole family, can get cooking this weekend at these scrumptious workshops.  You must call to register for these events both being held this Saturday at 3:00 PM.

Taste & Technique, Fairhaven is hosting a two hour workshop called Dessert in a Dish (AKA: Delish in a Dish).  Kids, ages 7 and up, will learn to make deserts including Classic Bread Pudding, Berry Upside Down Mini Cakes, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Cups with Vanilla Ice Cream. Young Chef’s Academy, Moganville, is offering a family cooking session called The Best Cakes in the World. South America’s Tres Leches Cake (Three Milk Cake) is an unusually delicious cake soaked in milk and topped with sweetened cream.  The White House chefs created Lucy’s Chocolate Layer Cake, which participants will frost with Chocolate Ganache.  Kids must be at least 5 years old.
