Jevon Olea releases new single "Just Not Right"

Jevon Olea has played in many bands in the Miami area.  He’s played different styles of music ranging from pop, rock, alternative rock, punk pop and rock before embarking on a solo professional music career.  He has been writing, recording and performing as a soloist but at times collaborates with local musicians providing assistance in many different areas of the recording process.

Jevon Olea’s will be releasing his debut CD as a solo artist titled “Crossroads of Life” in April or May, 2011.  His lead single on this CD is “Just Not Right” which has already been released.   Its interpretation depends on the listener.  Everyone has a personal experience that they can relate these lyrics with.  On Jevons level, it was a chance to write music that could be understood in different contexts.   This song was written about how being too honest with oneself doesn’t always turn out the way it was expected.  The song features nice soothing acoustic guitars and vocals that are harmonized beautifully.  It also gives the listener a feeling of comfort and understanding which attracts them to listen even more intently.  It has a very catchy melody and lyrics and a wonderful arrangement of instrumentals.  

“Crossroads of Life” is full of these glorious songs.  Every single one of them has catchy lyrics and melodies with wonderful instrumental arrangements.  One unique factor with Jevon is that he fuses acoustic and electric guitar with wonderful vocals that are crisp and on the mark.  

Playing for 16 years has created a well matured signature sound for him.  He has his niche – that space that no one owns but him.  His music is very catchy, memorable and sustainable in this business.  Easy listening with an edge  -  pure genius.  

Jevon Olea is exploring the idea of touring.  Currently he is playing local shows, but if the opportunity arises, he’ll be ready to hit the road.
