Chamber President to Address Consulting Alliance at March Luncheon

Peter L. Aust, President & CEO of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce, will discuss business dynamics in the North Country at the Consulting Alliance's March luncheon.
 
March 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Peter L. Aust, President & CEO of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce, will address the Consulting Alliance at its luncheon meeting on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 11:30 A.M. to 2 P.M. at Wolferts Roost Country Club, 120 Van Rensselaer Blvd., Menands, NY.  The cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.  Guests and prospective members are invited to attend.  Reservations are required and can be made by calling (518) 434-0489 or by emailing info@consultingalliance.org.

During the program “More Than Mountains and Lakes: Business Dynamics in the North Country,” Aust will discuss the dynamic business community north of Saratoga County, which plays a significant role in technology, regional tourism and global business.

A native of Glens Falls, NY, Aust became President & CEO of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce in December 2010. Prior to his appointment, he was President & CEO of the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County where he served for nine years. He has been involved in leadership positions in various chambers of commerce throughout his career, both as a volunteer and board officer.  He received his IOM designation in 2007 from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management at Loyola-Marymount University and is a graduate of the Lowery Institute of Management in Chicago.

Aust's involvement in professional and community organizations includes serving as a past Chairman of the Chamber Alliance of New York State in addition to chairing that organization’s Health Care Task Force.  He serves on the Board of Regents of the US Chamber's Institute for Organizational Management at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He is also a member of the Government Affairs Council of the Business Council of New York State, on the Executive Committee of the Tech Valley Chamber Coalition.
