Workforce Central Florida University Offers No-Cost Seminar on Complying with GINA Regulations

WHAT:    
WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA UNIVERSITY, a service from WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA (WCF), will host a seminar titled, “Complying with the Final GINA Regulations.”  The March workshop is presented by Jackson Lewis LLP.

The final regulations for the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act were issued in December 2010 and provide helpful guidance on a myriad of issues.  Now is the time for employers – many of which are still largely unfamiliar with GINA – to understand its basic requirements and adopt the policies and protocols needed to ensure compliance.  This session will highlight key legal issues arising under GINA and provide practical suggestions and best practices.
