Enjoy a free show: Every night of the week at various locations throughout the region all summer long!

Name that bird: download or pick up the brand new Southern Ocean County Birding Map at the chamber's website or visitor center. This gives you places, seasons and species to be on the look out for.

Babysit a clam: Follow the ReClam the Bay clam trail and visit upwellers to learn about how growing shellfish is cleaning the bay www.reclamthebay.org

Sail  on an historic schooner: AJ Meerwald NJ's classic tall ship is sailing into Beach Haven July 25-27. Enjoy sailings, deck tours and environmental fun facts as she makes Beach Haven her port of call.

Cast A Line : Register for the 56th Annual Long Beach Island Surf Fishing Classic and spend the fall earning thousands of dollars in prizes.

Do the Jig: At the Ship Bottom Irish Festival September 10-11, where Irish talent, traditions and beer garden is set up overlooking the bay.

Conquer Old Barney: The recently re commissioned coastal navigation aid recently hit 151 years of guarding the inlet, there is no admission to visit the beautiful grounds and only a dollar to climb to the top of this working lighthouse at Barnegat Light State Park

Choose Team Red or White at the Twilight Themed  23rd  Chowderfest, Sunday October 2 at Bayfront Park Taylor Avenue, Beach Haven."The New Spoon" will feature unlimited chowder tasting at the Chowder Cook off Classic as local restaurants compete to be the King Of Clams. Your ticket gets you two votes, one for red and one for white. Plenty of music, food and fun for everyone from 11am to 4pm.
