Halifax Romance Writers Networking Event a Huge Success

Feb. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- On Thursday, February 10, a unique group of Halifax romance writers, members of the Romance Writers of Atlantic Canada, teamed up with the networking organization Bconnected for a unique pre-Valentine’s celebration.  The successful event was host to some of Halifax’s most renowned romance writers, along with members of the Halifax networking elite.

The event, which took place at the Argyle Fine Art Gallery, featured the author’s words displayed as art around the gallery.  Some of the Halifax romance writers and other authors who attended the event included: Donna Alward, Kelly Boyce, Lilly Cain, Pamela Crow, Renee Field, Deborah Hale, Julianne MacLean, Julia Smith, Taylor Keating, and Annette Gallant.  Appetizers and drinks were provided by Stamos of George and Lito’s, and Lynn MacMichael of Bconnected co-sponsored the event.

The Romance Writers of Atlantic Canada is a “not-for-profit professional organization dedicated to enhancing the craft and art of writing, providing industry knowledge, and promoting both the romance genre and its published authors.  RWAC offers a supportive environment and opportunity to learn about the romance publishing industry and the craft of writing.”
