Ken Connor Named "Certified Professional of the Year" by Milwaukee/NARI

Feb. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Menomonee Falls, Wis. – Ken Connor, CR, co-owner of Connor Remodeling & Design, has been named Certified Professional of the Year by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, Milwaukee Chapter.

Connor, a 26-year veteran of the remodeling business, was recognized for his many years of service to Milwaukee/NARI and his longstanding commitment to professionalism and educating others. Connor has been a member of Milwaukee/NARI for more than 20 years, and earned his Certified Remodeler designation more than a decade ago.

Connor Remodeling & Design (http://www.connorremodeling.com) recently won four 2010 Wisconsin Remodelers Awards in the annual hotly contested competition. The company is owned by Ken Connor and his son, Kevin Connor, CR, CLC. Together they bring more than 40 years of experience to every project.

The Certified Professional of the Year Award “recognizes a person who’s been a Certified Professional for at least three years and has continued to excel in the field, while sharing professional experience and expertise with other association members,” according to Milwaukee/NARI.

Ken Connor has served as an instructor during the Certified Professionals training program at Milwaukee/NARI and worked with other remodelers to achieve Certified Professional status. He has chaired and served on several organization committees, and volunteered to staff its information booth at consumer shows and participate in numerous outreach activities.

“I am both grateful for and humbled by this award,” Connor said. “I have long viewed active participation in Milwaukee/NARI as both a professional responsibility and a way to ensure that our customers always get the best service and guidance possible.
