H&R Block Opens 11 New Houston Area Locations

Jan. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- (Houston, TX) – H&R Block is adding to its more than 10,000 offices nationwide by opening 11 additional locations and 450 new jobs in the Houston area.

“In addition to providing outstanding service to clients within the Houston community,” said Calvin Ricks, H&R Block Regional Director. “We want to have a positive effect on the neighborhoods we work in by creating jobs and through community service.”

Clients and guests were encouraged to visit the new locations. Tax experts were standing by to discuss recently passed laws that will effect this tax season. Information about courses for those interested in becoming a tax professional were also available.

Entertainment varied from one location to the next. Many locations featured money machines sponsored by First Convenience Bank and Telemundo.
