HotSmart makes heat storage technology available for licensing

Dec. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- HotSmart is now trying to license and exploit its proven heat storing technology under the assumption that most people do not like it when their food gets cold on the plate.

HotSmart goal is to make regular ceramic plates obsolete; the founder firmly believes that serving on cold plates will even be considered  impolite in the near future and that HotSmarts will become the standard; after all nowadays it is considered impolite to serve cold food and expectations change with innovation..

Any dinnerware company that licenses the technology will have a great competitive edge in its market segment; unfortunately as often happens with innovation it seems like you need to bang people's head with a 2"x4"  before they accept it. Do you know the story of the supermarket kart? Google it it is interesting how they had to hire people to start using them so that others would use them; imagine going today at Wal Mart if they did not have karts

In the case of "HotSmart Plates" the technology works, people love them and HotSmart is practically being begged to ship to Canada and the UK (People will love the plates in Europe).

This is an attempt to expedite things and improve the cash flow but HotSmart keeps moving; when the USA dinnerware industry initially rejected the project HotSmart started manufacturing in China (where by the way it has patent rights).
