Internet Drum and Bass Radio station KrisisDnB.Com Review of 2010

Dec. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Forget Wikileaks, the real hot topic of the year is KrisisDnB !!!

2010 has seen KrisisDnB move forward so much. After a frustrating end to 2009 with a combination of issues affecting the upgrade to the V3 website, the stability returned during January and got the sites focus back on track.

With new shows on the station including Fineprint from Jaydan's Smokin Riddims label, Sparxy (2010 Dubstep In the Picture Competition champion), Mannix, Bartus, Dangerous Stereotypes, Repul, Ruskal, Septik and Mindless, the schedule has seen massive changes, and with that has come such a drive from the listeners as well as the DJs to promote things even more. The worldwide exposure from the website statistics show large increases in places like Czech Republic, Sweden, USA, Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine, Belarus and the Russian Federation. Most of these countries are also represented in the chatroom at various times, which means slowly the language barrier of what was originally an english site has evolved to have a real international feel.

October saw the V3 site hit 1000 members. May not seem that high, but we started on 0 in November 2009, and its not compulsory to register on the site to enjoy the features. With communities on all of the well known uk social networks, as well as many more internationally, the number of people around the world aware of the station and have listened to it is estimated at over 500,000 and growing.

For the Krisis brand 2010 has been huge, continuing on from 2009, and adding more international KrisisDnB events to give some of our international supporters the chance to see some KrisisDnB DJs playing locally to them. With AskArT performing in Prague, Czech Republic in April, and MX performing at a massive 18 events in the former russian republic of Belarus. Things didnt stop in the UK, with plenty of opportunities to see KrisisDnB DJs and MCs around the country with NeO and Vinyl Richy organising 2 immense events in Portsmouth headlined by DJ Pleasure and Majistrate along with some of the more local artists from the station. And to round things off nicely was our first event in London at Fluid with Septik, Docile, Fly, Kaizer performing alongside Heist, Ctrl Z, and the 2009 & 2010 UK DMC Champion Jeppa.

Still a few weeks left of 2010, and as always we will be running an amended schedule of shows, christmas specials from our shows around the world, and some competitions as well. Keep checking the Site Updates forum for more details as we build up to the climax for whats been another amazing year !

2011 sees KrisisDnB move into its 5th year, and at least 2 more international events are already planned. The first in Kiev, Ukraine on 11th February headlined by possibly one of the best known international artists in the scene. Unknown Error has been around the globe to display his skills as a DJ and producer, also having performed at many Therapy Sessions events which has a worldwide fanbase. Drum and Basslines is the name we have tagged for these events in the Ukranian capital, and were already planning Part 2 sometime in the summer as well. Weve hand-picked the very best DJs from the station who were available to come for the first event and will do the same in the summer once plans become clearer. NeO and Vinyl Richy are already planning their next event on the South Coast of the UK for the earlier part of 2011.

Wherever you are in the world, whether you are new to the KrisisDnB family, or have been following us for years, then you should know by now that there will be more developments, features, and improvements over the course of the next 12months.
