The new Text to Landline service enables the regional wireless carrier’s subscribers to send text messages to any landline telephone in the U.S. or Canada.

Using Text to Landline is simple. SouthernLINC Wireless subscribers create and send a text message as they normally would. The entered landline telephone number is called, and the text message is automatically converted from text to speech. When the landline recipient answers the phone, the text message is spoken to them. Upon receipt of the message, the recipient has the option to verbally respond.

Text to Landline provides SouthernLINC Wireless subscribers with the following benefits:
       - No special equipment is needed; no signup is required. Any SouthernLINC  wireless customer who has a text messaging plan can send texts to landline phones.
       - No new skills to learn. The process is exactly the same as sending a text message to another cell phone. After typing the text message and hitting send, the text message is automatically converted to a voice message and sent to the landline number.
       - No guessing. Senders receive a confirmation text message, indicating the delivery status of their message.
       - No additional plan to purchase. Text to Landline service is included with all text messaging plans. Normal text messaging rates may apply.
