| ![]() Service user strategy to be informed by feedback at eventNorfolk and Waveney Mental Health Trust is holding a Health, Happiness and Wellbeing event on 15 December in Norwich, to provide service users with an opportunity to have their say prior to the development of a service user strategy.
By: Norfolk & Waveney Mental Health NHS FT The service users’ strategy will set out how the Trust intends to engage with service users over the next 3-5 years. The areas covered within the strategy will include; service user engagement and involvement, how service users can influence the Trust through their views and preferences and personal budgets. Stephen Fletcher, chair of the Trust’s service users’ council said: ‘The Health, Happiness and Wellbeing event highlights the increased involvement service users have in making decisions at the Trust. I am really pleased to see the development of a service user strategy and hope that other service users will take this opportunity to have their say on 15th December’. The event is free to attend and will run many workshops including, how a great mental health service can be developed. The event will also provide free complementary therapy taster sessions from 9am, an opportunity for service users to record their thoughts in a private and confidential space and an exhibition area with information on employment, housing, personal budgets, fitness and health activities and the 5 ways to wellbeing and how they can be applied to everyday life.
