Dec. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Clickpotato is an adware program designed to bombard PC users with numerous advertisement pop up windows. The adware is also known as ADSPY/AdSpy.Gen2 (Avira), AdWare.AdSpy (Ikarus), and Pinball (Sunbelt Software). Once infected with the Clickpotato adware the system will experience a very sluggish performance, connectivity and processing power wise.

Typically, you will notice your PC's performance decline day after day as more and more pop up's appear. The adware sent to your PC will increase in number over time as it populates more ad's to be shown to you as you surf the Web. It may not be malicious in nature, at the start anyway. However, these types of programs can morph and provide the makers with information about you and your internet habits.

If you encounter the pop-up window asking you to download or install, don’t install it! If you already did, just follow the step by step removal guide found here http://spywareremovalguides.com/adware-clickpotato-removal.html.
