SantaCruzJobs.com Video Contest Ends

Dec. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Santa Cruz, CA – After a two-week long voting competition, SantaCruzJobs.com closed the polls and announced the winners of their Video Contest. All videos were posted to SantaCruzJobs.com’s YouTube channel where users were able to vote on their favorite video by giving it a “thumbs up.” Four videos were entered into the content collectively receiving over 65 votes and over 860 views.

Barbara Gerry and Lisa Hadley of Santa Cruz won first place with their video which received 39 votes. Their video begins with an employer placing a “Now Accepting Applications” sign in the front door at 9:00 a.m. and fast forwards through the day with the employer being bothered with applications. At the end of the day, the employer sits down at her desk and logs onto SantaCruzJobs.com. The voiceover says, “You can try filling a job opening the old way or you can register with us.”

In second place with 12 votes is Juan C. of Watsonville who won $250 for his video and in third place with 9 votes is Sergio Bindel of Pacific Grove who won $100.

“This video contest gave us the opportunity to tap into some creative concepts for future commercials,” said CEO and President of the job boards Eric Swanson. “We are very excited to see the number of individuals who participated and the excitement the contest generated. Thank you to everyone who submitted a video.”
