RenoTahoeJobs.com and CarsonValleyJobs.com’s Video Contest
Call for Entries deadline pushed out

Reno, NV –  The Call for Entries for participants to enter the RenoTahoeJobs.com and CarsonValleyJobs.com Video Contest has been extended to Saturday, October 30th, 2010, announced CEO and President of the job boards Eric Swanson.

“We recognized that schools are just getting back into session and many events are in place in the Reno-Tahoe area. We want to accommodate any participant who would like to enter but would not have been able to given the original deadline,” Swanson said. “We hope the month-long extension will encourage more individuals to participate.”

The challenge is to come up with an idea for a good commercial focused on the hiring/job seeking experience and submit the commercial to the job boards.

After the Call for Entries closes on October 30th, all submissions will be checked for eligibility and then posted to RenoTahoeJobs.com’s YouTube channel at youtube.com/user/RenoTahoeJobs, where the public will have a chance to vote on their favorite one. The job boards encourage all participants to campaign as much as possible for their video once it is posted.

The first place winner will receive a $500 cash prize followed by a $250 cash prize for the second place winner. The third place winner will receive a $100 cash prize.
