Ashlyn believes in ‘happily ever after,’ even though she has been burnt in the past. She remains optimistic and meets Terrence who represents everything she wants until he reveals a side of himself that she never saw coming. Does she love him enough to stay? Envy has always doubted love because of her past relationships. She meets and falls in love with Harrison. Life seems blissful for Envy until she receives a phone call. Although she is prepared to walk away from him and the relationship, has she given too much of her heart and soul to leave so easily?

In high school, Singleton used writing as a therapeutic release from peer pressure and her part-time job. She took a hiatus from writing when she pursued a career in communication, but her love for books remained intact. Eventually, her love for reading was not enough to satisfy her passion to write. Inspired by family and loved ones, this vibrant author returned to the literary arena to display her distinct writing style and storytelling. Singleton currently resides outside of Dallas, TX with her two sons. Singleton describes her first novel as a fictitious masterpiece that provides a powerful insight into the lives, loves, and struggles of her characters.
