As a "military brat," LMBlakely has traveled and resided in such places like: the Philippines; Okinawa, Japan; New Mexico; and Florida. She found inspiration in journaling, playing different instruments, and composing ballads. Through her hobbies, she had aspirations of being a songwriter until her creative passion led her to becoming a published author.
