ACI Introduces a GED® by Mail Prep Program Aimed at Alleviating Waiting Lists Across the Country

Nov. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- The Academic Correspondence Institute’s GED® prep program is available in the U.S. and Canada offering courses by mail with weekly teleconferences.  The program aims to alleviate current nationwide waiting lists and serve those without computer access or the ability to attend classes.

According to the National Coalition for Literacy, 36 million Americans have not finished high school.  Many are working adults unable to utilize current state-run programs due to scheduling and daycare costs.  Many of them do not have computer access for using online programs.

Of those seeking instruction, The National Council of State Directors of Adult Literacy states only 2.5 million are being served by state programs. There are 160,000 on waiting lists for GED programs. With extensive waiting lists proliferating and the increasing difficulty in finding legitimate online programs, ACI has emerged as a beacon in the education field.  Their program also includes perpetual enrollment and addresses curriculum issues that stymie many students in the traditional Adult Education environment.
