Find the Perfect Lighting With GoldenPic

When it comes to outdoor photography, lighting plays an intricate role in that perfect picture.  Instead of trying to figure out when the Golden Hour (the first and last hour of sunlight during the day, achieving a high quality of light) or Blue Hour (the twilight period of each morning and evening where there is neither full daylight nor complete darkness) is going to be, reach for GoldenPic.

GoldenPic is an application designed for photographers.  After retrieving your current GPS location, GoldenPic will display when the blue hours, golden hours, sunrise, and sunset will occur for any given date and location in the world.  If the selected date is within 5 days, it will even display the weather for you (when available)!  GoldenPic is great for planning your next outdoor photo shoot, and you can even email the results!

“A great little app which, based on your GPS co-ordinates, will tell you what time golden hour will commence in the after noon, what time the sun will set,  what time blue hour will end, and then for the following morning, what time blue hour starts, sunrise, and when golden hour will end. The full version of GoldenPic is available on the Android Market for $1.99 USD and provides four different ways to change the location, it allows you to remember your last location (so you don't have to keep turning on your GPS each time) and it also allows you to email the results to yourself or someone else (maybe to show your client when the sunrise or sunset will occur in order to plan the photo shoot accordingly).

GoldenPicLite is a free version with limited functionality and is supported by advertisements.
