Pinewood (Derby) : Winning By the Rules - a Guide to Building Faster Race Cars

Oct. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- Remember building that Pinewood Derby car with Dad, Grampa, or someone special? You were 8 years old... the sweet smell of sawdust... some kids had fast ones... they had carpenters or machinists in the family... some built it on their own, building character before speed... and some kids were told by grownups that they were too poor to be a Cub Scout...

Do you know a disadvantaged kid? Send an email to bill@onecent.us. He has figured out a way to get people from all walks of life to help him in buying, distributing and then giving them to libraries, schools and youth organizations, first In the NYC and surrounding metro areas, and if he can do that successfully? The Houston and then the entire USA. Canada will be next. But like race cars, we need a few test laps before we put the pedal to the medal.

Our goal? Simple right now. To put 10,000  copies of Pinewood: WINNING BY THE RULES in the hands of Cub Scouts in the NY area in time for December, 2010, when  so many 8 year olds have heard in their dreams:
