By: Jason Rush for Boston Interactive The goals for the Bottom Line website were to connect with high school students in a meaningful way, increase applications, and act as an ongoing resource for students to use throughout their college careers. Boston Interactive was tasked with devising a new website architecture and design to accurately reflect Bottom Line’s work and mission. “Bottom Line’s is all about helping students through both high school and college, so it only makes sense that its website should act as a valuable resource for the students it helps,” said Jim Keller, Vice President at Boston Interactive. “By adding new features and making the website more user-friendly, we hope to help Bottom Line fulfill its mission.” Another goal of the redesign was to support Bottom Line’s geographic and program expansion. The organization began in Boston, soon after expanded to Worcester, Massachusetts, and as of July, 2011 will be helping students in New York City. “We knew that, as Bottom Line began expanding nationally, our website would need to keep up. We came to Boston Interactive with an idea for a website that could be a resource for our students, our donors and the education community. BI turned that idea into a reality and we couldn’t be happier with the result,” says Greg Johnson, Executive Director of Bottom Line.
