Transients induced onto the signal lines often cause costly damage and downtime.  Therefore, surge protection for MCR technology is indispensable.  At the same time, there is a demand to save space and reduce wiring time, all at a minimum cost.

Protection
Eight variations of surge protection modules provide surge protection for analog, digital, and sensor circuits, designed as either common mode or differential mode type of surge protection, based on the type of circuit.

Save Space
Various products are space-saving surge protection devices for MCR technology.  The 6.2 mm-wide module protects up to four signal wires, and sets a standard as the narrowest DIN rail-mountable surge protector for MCR technology in the industry.

A T-bus adapter is available for protecting more than four signal wires.  An unlimited number of protection modules can be connected to a circuit.  E.g., six-conductor measurement.

Simple and Time-Saving Wiring:
With the MINI Analog system cabling, up to eight of these modules can connect to a controller, saving the cabling cost and eliminating any wiring errors.
