These New Safety Relays Can be Used with an Automatic or Monitored Manual Reset

Four new part numbers have been added to the safety relay range.  One version has three redundant normally open (NO) contacts and one normally closed (NC) status contact.  Another version has two redundant NO safety contacts and one NC status contact.  Both are available in either spring or screw connection.

These new additions are very similar to some existing safety relays.  The big change with the new relays is the fact that they can be “reset” with either a monitored manual or automatic reset.

Previously, clients have had to determine their required type of reset (monitored manual or automatic) to recommend the correct part.  The new part numbers were added to simplify product selection for the very popular two and three NO safety contact applications.  They will also allow more functionality.

•   Will simplify product selection (no need to understand the reset circuit)
•   Spring-clamp and screw-cage versions
•   Safety Category 4, Performance Level E and SIL 3
