When a new teacher from Tanzania arrives, his strict demeanor and demanding curriculum both challenge and infuriate the students. The two girls bond once again, as they become protective over each other when the new teacher upsets them.

This sensitive story for young readers will touch several chords, as it brings the two girls together again to overcome their obstacles.

About the Author: Geraldine Pennels grew up in the Eastern Cape of South Africa in King William’s Town. After graduating from university, she was employed as an educator at a tertiary institution. It was her experience during this time that inspired her first novel. Dr. Pennels resides in Port Elizabeth, where she continues to pursue her writing career.
