Once-Loved Coats Relegated to Backs of Closets Welcome at Ft. Lauderdale Ski & Snowboard Show
Charitable Partners Will Distribute Coats to Local Families in Need
By: Leisa Chester Weir
People who donate a coat will be rewarded for their generosity in the form of a $10 coupon toward the purchase of a new winter jacket. “It’s really a win for all,” says David Mahoney, Marketing Director for Peter Glenn. “Our patrons can feel good about giving to a great cause and have an incentive to check out the newest winter coat styles. Our vendors will have a group of cheerful shoppers and LifeNet 4 Families will be able to better serve their clients.”
Whether it’s secondhand, gently used, recycled, salvaged, reutilized or born again, those once-loved coats from runway shows of years gone by will be able to make a new fashion statement with a different set of ‘models’ in the South Florida community.
Show hours for the Ft. Lauderdale Ski and Snowboard Show are Friday, October 1, 1:00 to 9:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday, October 2 and 3, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. Admission is free for children under the age of 16 and $5.00 for adults. Visit Peter Glenn Ski & Sports online (http://www.peterglenn.com/
