| E-Discovery Committee of the Litigation Section of the D.C. Bar at 2010 Masters ConferenceThe Masters Conference announced that the E-Discovery Committee of the Litigation Section of the D.C. Bar will present “Federal Enforcement: How Federal Government Investigations are Evolving in Response to the Cloud and Data Outsourcing.”
In this session, moderated by E-Discovery Committee Vice Chair Allison Stanton, panelists will discuss issues companies should consider when outsourcing their data with an eye towards having to one day respond to government inquiries. Specifically, the panel will discuss evolving technology, current investigation practices, and suggestions and novel approaches on how to respond to investigations when data has been outsourced. Panelists include: Tracy Greer, Senior Litigation Counsel for Electronic Discovery, Antitrust Division, DOJ; John Haried, Assistant National Discovery Coordinator Executive Office of United States Attorneys; and David Shonka, Principal Deputy General Counsel, Federal Trade Commission.
