Sept. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- ATLANTA, GA., -Jazz Saxophonist Antoine Knight will return to his hometown, Pensacola, Florida, to release his new CD, "Walk Da Walk", on September 17, 2010.  Special guest, Will Inspire, will also perform. The CD Release/Listening Party will be held at the Cross Winds at Corry Station, located at 3712 Chief’s Way, Pensacola, Florida. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Showtime is 8:15 p.m.

Knight is well on his way to becoming one of jazz music's most influential saxophonist. Devoted to his art, this passionate sax player made Atlanta Jazz history by becoming the first independent artist to be picked up by a "Radio One" Station (WJZZ/107.5), with his debut CD, "iN the Red". Since the release of his debut album, Antoine has played and opened for jazz greats Vesta, Najee, Kim Waters, Steve Oliver, and Three Keys recording artist Marcus Johnson. Antoine received his first big break when he was hired by Producer Norman Connors to play for Angela Bofield and Jean Carne.  His first CD received national recognition and aired in over 50-plus cities across the country.  In fact, he has played in front of thousands and entertained the crowds with his funky jazz style... He has performed in the 2007 Atlanta Jazz Festival, 2007 Suwanee Jazz Festival, 2005 Atlanta Wings Festival, and Wednesday Wind-Down Series in Centennial Olympic Park (Atlanta, GA) and played for the Atlanta Falcons' games in the Georgia Dome for two years.

When asked how it feels to be going home and releasing his CD to his hometown, Knight says, “It’s a wonderful feeling knowing that the people that I love and grew up with can embrace the visions and dreams that I’m doing musically.”

You can find him blowing his horn on the Atlanta jazz circuit at Landons, Lonzell’s, Sambuca, The Baby Grand Piano Bar, and many other spots. Stay tuned because he's just getting started, and he is coming to a city near you real soon… Check his music out at www.blowdahorn.com or www.myspace.com/knightmuzic.
