Dynamic Growth at Grass Roots Level of the Discussion Group "From RDA to LEP" on LinkedIn

Aug. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- As he drove back from a business network event in late July, Pete Thornton-Smith sensed the recent announcement by the new government regarding the replacement of RDAs by LEPs could fit comfortably on the social media site LinkedIn as it had been a hot topic of discussion that night.  Knowing most his fellow business colleagues had a presence on LinkedIn he worked into the early hours of the morning  to create the Group 'From RDA to LEP'.

The aim was to collate information and resources for the business advisors and consultants so they were fully informed about this very important transition within their sphere of operation.  Being aware of the latest developments and how they could input would be crucial so he asked for help to amass relevant content so all might benefit and not risk getting left behind.

Now after 5 weeks he oversees a membership that is around a 1000 strong.  He admits it is truly awesome that so many in this business sector have been prepared to commit some of their precious time to the group.   Not only can you see so many diverse discussions being posted from all around the UK, but so many of the membership are getting involved with the relevant debates. Long may it continue says Peter.
