The SC21 Change Agent cometh with funding opportunities in Yorkshire and Humber

ROTHERHAM, U.K. - April 19, 2013 - PRLog -- SC21 is an objective standard that has been developed and adopted by a rapidly growing number of businesses in the UK Aerospace and Defense Industry.

How is it structured?

It provides a framework for improving the effectiveness of supply chains and gives recognition to those suppliers that meet the agreed performance standards. Fundamentally SC21 lays out what excellence looks like so every supplier and customer can:

Its impact on the Supply Chain

Through participating in SC21, businesses gain greater understanding of how the industry will be changing in the future and enhanced awareness of the latest developments in the sector, both of which are key competitive advantages. This is why more than 600 companies have joined the programme and are committed to achieving its aims.

This is a collaborative programme where companies sign up and make a pact with their customer to agree metrics and work together to achieve them. There are three award levels - Gold, Silver and Bronze - and 250 of the 600+ companies have achieved an award and recognition of their excellence.

It is a stern test of a company's abilitities, but in return their performance and reputation in this £24billion a year market place gets greatly enhanced.

The role of the SC21 Change Agent

ADS Accredited Trainer Paul Brown of the ICE Partnership LLP is on hand to walk companies through the process, show them where they need to make an input and talk over any concerns and issues along the way.

To support this, Paul has teamed up with Pete Thornton-Smith to set up a social media campaign that portrays him as the 'SC21 Change Agent' and this is now searchable on Twitter, Wordpress and as a YouTube channel where Paul takes you through various parts of the process in bite sized chunks.
