Wakefield, MA Single-family Home Prices, Sales Decrease July 2010

Oct. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- The median price and sales of single-family homes in Wakefield, Massachusetts decreased in July 2010, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer real estate agency. The data was compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes in Wakefield, MA decreased 15.79 percent in July 2010, a difference of $69,000 compared to July of 2009. Sales also decreased, dropping 37.04 percent in July 2010 compared to July of 2009.

The median price of condominiums in Wakefield, MA also decreased, falling 50.13 percent in July 2010, a difference of $193,000. Condominium sales also decreased in July 2010, dropping 57.14 percent compared to the previous July.

Multi-family homes saw a rise in median price, jumping up 21.32 percent in July 2010, although there was only one sale during the month.
