Building an iPhone App: A Crash Course

July 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Baltimore, MD: Leading interactive web and mobile application development company, Accella, announced they will host a webinar this Thursday on building an iPhone application.  The free webinar is designed to teach companies that are looking to develop an application about the process and what to expect.  Accella will be featuring Runner’s World’s recently launched “SmartCoach” iPhone application and the process that they undertook.

“We’re looking to educate the general public about the process of developing an iPhone application, what steps they need to take, and what they need to think about before beginning the development process,” said Jon Stroz, Vice President of Marketing at Accella.  “We have worked with many companies over the years, both large and small, to develop applications, we want to share some of the wisdom we’ve learned to make the development process easier for everyone out there.”

The webinar will cover the four main stages of creating an application; planning, designing, development, and delivery.  It will include what one needs to accomplish during each of these stages as well as tips and tricks for avoiding a development nightmare.  Throughout the entire webinar Accella will talk about how they worked with Runner’s World to help mobilize their popular SmartCoach application.
