About the entertainment (band bios)

BuckVillians was born from a desire to start a bluegrass band that doesn't necessarily play bluegrass, but could encompass a wide spectrum of music and inject in it the essence of bluegrass. Come enjoy their strong blues and swing overtones combined with a folksy, somewhat traditional sound. The result is a rich tapestry of these diverse styles blended into a unique, high-energy, and relateable sound. They will be on stage at 1:30.

The Snowy River Band has opened and or shared the stage with many big name acts that include such artists as John Anderson, Aaron Tippin, Chris LeDoux, Asleep At The Wheel, Ricochet, Trick Pony, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Rick Trevino, Lonestar, Mark Chesnutt, Toby Keith, Tracy Lawrence, Blackhawk, Ty Herndon, Roy Clark and many others. Their music list includes not only some high energy country but mixes in a little bluegrass, a little rock & roll and a few rodeo favorites during the show as well as digging in to Woodie's cajun roots. The Snowy River Band will take the stage at 3p.

House Band for the Grizzly Rose, Walker Williams and band deliver a quality performance. Walker and his band cater to the dance crowds, performing selections from Walker's own CD, two of which he wrote, covers of popular country songs by other artists, country-rockers and the occasional surprise tune from a variety of music styles. If you know how to two-step, three-step, cha-cha, waltz or swing, you're gonna love 'em. On the other hand, if you just like to kick back and listen to a great singer that can also entertain, you'll enjoy Walker's music and antics just as much.
