June 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Environmental sustainability seems to have a new problem and it isn’t a lack of awareness, it is the amount of information that is blocking its campaign.  Climate change, oil spills, and threatened ecosystems are so prevalent across the headlines that even the most environmentally conscious citizen may feel overwhelmed trying to make sense of them.  Explanations about common toxicities damaging the ecosystems can be both frustrating and galvanizing, so where can one turn for answers to move beyond recycling?  Alison Wheatley, a Vancouver resident and business entrepreneur, can point them in the right direction starting with www.voicesforourplanet.com – a blog that she created to lead people into action.

The blog has manifested serious momentum since Alison Wheatley launched it in October of 2009, and people across the country are taking notice; from participating in getting the messages out, to offering creative solutions for environmental problems that they may have never understood before.  Ms. Wheatley is the owner of Route One Research Services, a marketing company helping small business owners succeed.  Her experience in helping people spring into action, along with an early found passion for nature and wildlife, led her to start a platform which offers everyone a place to learn and to be heard.

The Voices For Our Planet blog is all about giving people a greater voice, from those who work to prevent animal extinctions to those trying to help feed people in need.  Presently the site publishes articles written by several contributing writers on a consistent basis.  Clearly there is a need to bring all this information down to a street level so people can start exchanging dialogue and implementing solutions rather than spending their valuable time aimlessly worrying about the world’s problems.  We invite all media and public to join our mission by visiting our site and participating in the conversation.
