Eminem Not Afraid Song Smashes Sales Records

May 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Eminem  Not Afraid song is the first single to be released from his upcoming album titled Recovery.  Eminem’s  Not Afraid song  enters the Hot 100 at #1.   Quite a good result if you ask me for Eminem considering we are in a recession!

"Not Afraid" is Eminem's third #1 on the Hot 100.  The other 2 were  "Lose Yourself and "Crack A Bottle," which was a fantastic collaboration with 50 Cent and Dr. Dre.

Eminem  Not Afraid song  sold 379,000 copies in its first week of launch.  This is the biggest weekly sales amount so far this year.  

The Not Afraid song is the second rap song ever to debut at #1.  The first was  "I'll Be Missing You" by Puff Daddy & Faith Evans way back in 1997.

Eminem last year worked exclusivley with his longtime mentor Dr. Dre on his come back album titled Relapse.  This time round for the Recovery album, he sort out producers such as Boi-1da, DJ Khalil and Jonsin, just to add a new feel to the whole project.  Did it work?  Well you will have to be the judge of that dear reader.
