New York State Restaurant Association's Branding Short Wins 2010 National Aegis Video & Film Award

May 11, 2010 - PRLog -- New York– Branding Shorts has won a 2010 Aegis Awards for its New York State Restaurant Video “We Serve You,” an emotional three minute piece about the 75 years of NYSRA’s dedication and service to the Restaurant Industry. The Aegis Awards are the video industry’s premier competition for peer recognition of outstanding video productions and non-network TV commercials. This is Branding Shorts’ third Aegis win in three months.

The video was created as a marketing tool for the association to generate awareness, promote its services and celebrate its 75th Anniversary. “The process was seamless and our video continues to win enthusiastic praise from all who view it,” said Andrew Rigie, director of operations, NYSRA.

The video was directed and produced by Branding Shorts co-founders Micki Pagano and Tony Parente, a husband-wife team who bring more than 20 years of big brand advertising and marketing experience to small business. The “We Serve You” video features interviews from some of New York’s most renown chefs and restaurateurs, including Marc Murphy of Landmarc, Doug Griebel of Rosa Mexicano, Melba Wilson of Melba’s, Koshy Chacko of Fair Deal Café and Anthony and Jimmy Dell’Orto of Manganaro’s HeroBoy, and restaurants like Isabella’s, Fred’s, The Gin Mill, Good Enough To Eat, Nice Matin, The 21 Club, Buttercup and Shake Shack.  The video was recognized for its outstanding production quality in the category of “Sales/Promotions” by a distinguished panel of judges representing industry professionals around the country.
