Stryker, Slev Join Forces for New Law Group in San Diego

Stryker, longtime chief legal officer for San Diego engineering giant Rick Engineering Company, has announced a new venture with Monica Slev, whose broad expertise in contracts, risk management and civil litigation includes years of experience handling commercial and residential construction related disputes.

With offices at 3555 Fifth Ave., the Stryker Slev Law Group offers a range of professional services, including corporate, commercial and contract law, construction, real estate, Native American and tribal law, labor and employment, civil litigation and alternative resolution, risk management and planning. The practice covers Arizona, California, Colorado and Nevada.

Monica Slev’s current practice focuses on civil litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in business and construction defect litigation. Throughout her career, Slev has represented numerous contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, architects and engineers in a wide range of defect claims, including delays, cost over runs, design and construction management. She has developed extensive expertise representing companies and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation, including but not limited to contract disputes, indemnity claims, products liability, premises liability, class actions and other complex litigation. She has tried more than a dozen jury trials, and participated in hundreds of mediations and arbitrations.
