Michael Owen & Corks Out Help Charity

April 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Every year Corks Out have a chosen charity to support and throughout the year Corks Out are busy helping to raise money by auctioning and raffling the signed memorabilia as well as team members that work for Corks Out getting involved in all sorts of other tasks to help the charity, owner of Corks Out, Ruth Yates said they don’t mind running marathons but when It comes to bungee jumping they all decided to decline!  
 
'We started to do this about 5 years ago when we were inundated with requests to help various different charities and due to us being a wine shop I suppose we get asked more than most.  Being a charitable person I found that profits quickly disappeared.  Therefore, I decided to allow everyone that asked the opportunity to be put forward for a draw to support that charity the following year.  We now have one each year, which can be anything from a small local charity to a large national one. '
