Jan. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- The Drinks Retailing Awards is one of the most eagerly awaited nights in the industry's calendar and strive to reflect and reward best practice in as many areas of the take-home drinks market as possible.

These awards are unique in recognising excellence among both independent and multiple retailers and acknowledge people and businesses that have exceeded both, their own and their customers' expectations in providing range, value and service. The winners will need to have gained an edge over their competitors as a result of their passion, dedication, innovation and sheer hard work.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on the evening of February 2nd 2010 at London's Dorchester Hotel.  Corks Out are delighted to be nominated in the categories of “Neighbourhood Off Licence of the year” and the prestigious “Independent Drinks Retailer of the year”.

The past 4 years have been amazing for Corks Out in terms of awards, with over 14 in total. Corks Out, was recognised as ‘Best Retailer’ at the Visit Chester & Cheshire awards in 07 & 09 and has won the 'Warrington Business Retailer Award four years running.  To add to this there were two national awards in which judges unanimously agreed that Corks Out 'ticked all the boxes' as a specialist Independent wine merchant.
