April 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Have you ever thought, "I am having a nervous breakdown"? Relax, slow down, take a deep breath...Everyone at some point in there lives will need to deal with one or more episodes of severe anxiety. It is when the nervousness is more or less constant that you really have a problem. If you think you have a more severe form of anxiety, this article is for you.

First things first, you need to stop what you are doing, and stop panicking now. Drink some herbal tea, sit down, close your eyes, and shut the world out for a few minutes. When you are ready you are going to focus on each and every word of this article, making sure that you understand everything that is mentioned.

There is no reason to be anxious all the time. You are a human who is in total control of your actions and emotions. If you are blaming your problems on another force, be it another person or just a situation, you are effectively admitting that you are not responsible for yourself. The first step to beating your anxiety is to take full responsibility for yourself now! Say, "I am solely responsible for my own feelings" over and over again until you believe it.

Now that you've accepted responsibility, you need to make an aggressive "battle plan" about what exactly is causing your anxiety, and exactly what you need in your life to fix it. Will money make your anxiety go away? Are you anxious because of your weight? Are you having relationship problems that cause you grief? Whatever it is, you alone can fix it faster than anyone else. If you are alive, you have limitless potential to achieve anything. Believe in yourself!

Once you have identified your problem, and worked out what end solution is required, plan out how you are going to achieve this solution. Perhaps you decided that you won't truly beat your anxiety until you have a new job that pays well. All you need to do now is go out and get it. Don't think negative thoughts. you don't think your quite qualified for the position? Go for it anyway, test yourself. Many employers have been known to "give breaks" to those who show passion and energy. Expect to succeed!

Obviously, not all forms of anxiety stem from needing a new job. Take the above example and mould it to your own personal situation. Anything is possible, and happiness is achievable now, even if you're terminally ill or someone close to you has gone.
