BMC Racing Team to Rely On Easton Wheels in 2010 Grand Bicycling Tours

Easton wheels will make their first appearance in the Tour de France this summer thanks to the selection of the BMC Racing Team to compete in the 2010 French Grand Tour. BMC riders Cadel Evans and George Hincapie are among the riders who will rely on Easton’s lightweight, high-performance wheels in the Tour, which begins July 3 in Rotterdam and ends 2,232 miles later on July 25 in Paris. The Tour selection committee announced on March 3 that BMC was among 22 teams selected.
Easton wheels will also power BMC when it races in the Giro d’Italia, another grueling three-week stage race that features a number of brutal stages in the Dolomites. Giro organizers announced on March 22 that BMC is among the 22 teams selected for the stage race that begins May 8 in Amsterdam and ends May 30 in Verona.
