Credit Crunch Means Further Growth For Mackman Group

April 8, 2010 - PRLog -- A Sudbury business has taken on two new staff in line with its continuing success and expansion in the fields of research and on-line commerce and communication.

Joining the company this month are Technical Business Manager James Royce and Research and PR Officer Clare Gray – both posts which reflect the areas of strongest growth for the company. Director Paul Mackman said ‘There has been a significant increase in our on-line business over the last 12 months. Specifically the credit crunch has seen our existing and new clients wanting to maximize their business potential on line through website development, search engine optimization and eCommerce sites.’

James Royce comes to Mackman with experience of running his own IT company and almost 20 years experience in the sector. He says he is looking forward to being a key part of the company’s burgeoning on-line business.

Going hand-in-hand with more clients wanting a strong on-line presence has been an increase in demand for PR services. In an icy economic climate, publicity and effective placement has never been more important - especially for small to medium sized businesses. Coming from a background in publishing and journalism, Clare Gray will be joining Mackman Group to support the company’s increase in PR ventures.

As well as working with a growing number of companies across the region, Mackman Group believes in investing in the local community.
