March 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Philadelphia native Vivian Green and her single “Beautiful” will be featured in the Reverse Interview on The KiKi Miller Report which broadcasts on World Vibe Radio (www.worldviberadio.com) Monday, March 29, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. CST with rebroadcasts at the same time on Wednesday and Friday, March 31 and April 2, 2010.

Embarking on a singing and songwriting career in her teens, Vivian Green first gained national attention as a backup singer on Jill Scott’s “Words and Sounds Tour” in 2001.  Her first album on the Columbia Records label, 2002’s “A Love Story,” achieved gold certification and reached the top twenty in Billboard’s R&B albums chart, yielding a #1 dance hit with “Emotional Rollercoaster” and receiving three nominations at the 2003 Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards.

Her sophomore album, 2005’s “Vivian,” reached the top five of Billboard’s R&B and top twenty of the Billboard 200 albums charts, yielding two #1 dance hits with “Gotta Go, Gotta Leave (Tired)” and “I Like It (But I Don’t Need It)”.  She reveals in the interview that many songs on this album grew from the anger stage of recovering from a devastating heartbreak with titles such as “Mad,” “Frustrated,” “Damn,” “Selfish,” and “Cursed.”

Now recording for the largest independent record label in the US, E1 Music (formerly Koch Records), Vivian’s third studio album “Beautiful” is set for release on April 6, 2010 and reflects what a beautiful singer, songwriter, and woman Vivian Green has grown to be, inside and out.  Fully recovered from the heartbreak that colored her two previous albums, “Beautiful” covers a wider emotional range including songs of deep love and one dedicated to her son Jordan.  The pre-release single, also entitled “Beautiful,” is a healing song offering guidance to a former lover to learn from the mistakes he made in their relationship.  In the interview Vivian reveals that although she’s emotionally in a better place, she still had to include some “angry woman” songs…for the ladies.
