Free Alexander Technique Lesson as tried by Victoria Beckham

March 11, 2010 - PRLog -- From 10 May 2010, Hornchurch-based Alexander Technique teacher Carla Radford will be holding introductory Alexander Technique courses at Slewins Lane in Hornchurch.

The Alexander Technique? Recently in the press courtesy of Victoria Beckham who is using the self-help system to help improve her poor posture caused, as reports say, by her love of high-heels.

The Alexander Technique has been used for more than 100 years and is championed by many famous people other than Posh Spice, including Lulu, John Cleese and Roald Dahl.
Whilst renowned as a self help system for chronic back pain, the Alexander Technique has a far wider range of benefits including assisting with breathing difficulties, postural problems, headaches, recurring injuries and repetitive strain injury.

Carla Radford, a Member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT) has undergone strict, regulated training to help people find a tailor made way to get back in control of their mental and physical well being.

Slewins Lane Courses from 10 May 2010
Her courses will be held at the Slewins Lane venue in Hornchurch on Monday evenings from 8pm to 10pm from 10 May 2010. Limited to small groups for better personal attention, the classes will be divided into two parts of six sessions each. The Main Course consists of six sessions explaining the principles of The Alexander Technique and includes practical activities. The Follow-up Course involves further exploration of the Technique and further practical activities.

The fee for each course is an exceptionally reasonable £30.00 (£5.00 per class). The full course fee is payable in advance of the first class.
