March 10, 2010 - PRLog -- Escondido, CA     Lifetime Smiles has just added a new technology for the comfort and care of their patients.  This Single Tooth Anesthesia (STA) machine is a computer that controls the delivery of the anesthetic to individual teeth.  There is virtually NO pain, the anesthetic wears off a lot faster, and BEST OF ALL, there is no 'collateral' numbness of your lip or tongue...JUST THE TOOTH GETS NUMB!  You then, can get on with your day without lisping or drooling !  
The STA handpiece is far more visually friendly then the traditional dental syringe and can be modified to hide within the dentist’s hand – out of sight for those patients that are a bit more anxious.
