March 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Westborough, Massachusetts (March 9, 2010) – Systematics, Inc. www.systematicsinc.com, the leading provider of space and information management solutions for New England, and National Office Systems, Inc. (NOS) www.nosinc.com, industry leaders in the Mid-Atlantic region, today have announced a Strategic Alliance Agreement to become one of the largest providers of storage and document management systems in the U.S.

The strategic alliance with National Office Systems, Inc. based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, further increases Systematics’ industry leadership in both the high density storage and asset/records management markets. “The combination of NOS’ innovative and comprehensive solutions and our regional customer base, along with Systematics’ highly skilled and experienced staff will allow us to provide our clients with an even greater level of access to additional world-class products and dynamic services”, said Tom Schaefer, President of Systematics, Inc.  “By further enhancing the way organizations protect, manage and organize their vital assets, we will continue to expand upon the way our clients can better manage their time and space which will ultimately improve upon their bottom line,” added Schaefer.

“The Strategic Alliance was formed to assist Systematics with enhancing its distribution in the Eastern Corridor of the United States,” commented Joe Alvarez, Principal of NOS. “Our expansive manufacturer agreements will allow Systematics greater access to specialized products they otherwise would not have been able to offer their client base” added Alvarez.  “We have already formed new alliances with cutting-edge vendors offering state-of-the-art technologies such as biometric asset protection further bolstering chain of custody and inventory control” stated Schaefer.

Systematics, Inc. has been redefining space and information management in the Northeast since 1981.  The company is best known for its unique design engineering and unparalleled delivery of high density mobile and stationary shelving, library furniture and museum storage, modular millwork and casework, law enforcement evidence and duty lockers, material handling equipment, document and asset tracking software, and color-coded filing systems to both the public and private sectors.  Systematics will further leverage the strength and knowledge of the NOS team, particularly in the Federal Government marketplace, to provide additional space and asset/record management solutions designed to dramatically improve upon work flow efficiency and significantly consolidate and better utilize existing storage and work space.

Tom Schaefer commented “I feel truly privileged to expand on the entrepreneurial foundation my father, Declan Schaefer and his partner, Reese Rickards had envisioned when they started Systematics, Inc. nearly 30 years ago.  It has always been the company goal to offer innovative solutions to customers enabling them to be more productive in ways that improve their resources and this NOS Strategic Alliance will enhance our ability to meet the continuing growing needs of our customers in today’s changing global marketplace and new economy”.  Schaefer continued with “I am also very grateful for the continued support, dedication and hard work of all of the Systematics’ employees and their families.  It has been a combined team effort of success to date and I look forward to welcoming the NOS family to ours as we move forward and continue upon organizational excellence”.

The Strategic Alliance of Systematics, Inc. and National Office Systems, Inc. will operate under the name of National Office Systems New England, Inc. (NOSNE) d/b/a SYSTEMATICS.  Tom Schaefer, a Westborough High School, MA and Trinity College, CT graduate currently residing in Shrewsbury, MA, will remain President of SYSTEMATICS and serve on the Board of Directors of NOSNE with Joe Alvarez and his partner Dan Harbison who will serve as Chairman of the Board.  SYSTEMATICS will look to expand upon its leadership position through continued recruitment of highly qualified personnel and will exponentially grow through targeted acquisitions and mergers in New England and beyond.
