Professional Floors Refinishes ParkWay School District Premium Hardwood Gymnasium Floor

Jan. 31, 2010 - PRLog -- Professional Floors of St. Louis recently refinished and relined the Parkway West High School gymnasium.

The first part of this project included the sanding of approximately 11,000 square feet of the existing maple floors down to the bare wood. In the next steps, Professional Floors sealed the wood and carefully measured and taped the sports court lines in preparation for the painting process.

The lines and field areas were then meticulously checked for accuracy, then painted with specialty sports court tints in the school's colors.

The large 15 foot Longhorn Logo was then taped and painted within the center of the court. When thoroughly dry, Professional Floors of St. Louis then applied the eco-friendly urethane clear coats.  

Parkway School District was very impressed with Professional Floors of St. Louis's craftsmanship and timely completion.

This floor was prepared and finished in time for the Championship game of the Ameritime Tournament. Hazelwood Central took on the Spartans of DeSmet in a much anticipated showdown between these 2 top rival athletic teams.
