Interview with George P. Hansen on ISIS Paranormal Radio

Jan. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- On ISIS Paranormal Radio next Sunday, Patricia and Dayna, the co-hosts of the show, will interview George P. Hansen.  Mr. Hansen is the author of The Trickster and the Paranormal.  This book explores why parapsychology as well as stories related to unidentified flying objects (UFOs) are generally shunned by conventional scientists.  The text further explores how anthropology as well as literary criticism apply to paranormal study, and why psychic phenomena and mystical practices are closely associated with one another.  Finally, Mr. Hansen reveals why tabloids make the choice to put paranormal issues on their front page and main stream media does not.

George Hansen is not only an author, but a parapsychologist formerly employed at North Carolina’s Rhine Research Center in Durham as well as Princeton’s Psychophysical Research Laboratories in New Jersey.  Mr. Hansen has prior experience in research regarding remote viewing, séance phenomena, spirits and ghosts, and card guessing and he has been quite active in New Age organizations, UFO organizations and psychic organizations.  Mr. Hansen founded a skeptics group and he has been published in several prestigious scientific journals.  Finally, Mr. Hansen is an active participant in the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
