Corks Out Wins National Award

Oct. 6, 2009 - PRLog -- Corks Out, after winning two awards already this year, have now impressed the judges nationally as they pick up National Off Licence of the Year 2009 at the Retail Industry Awards on 1st October 2009. These awards are firmly established as the “Oscars” of the  industry, rewarding excellence in a raft of retail categories The Retail Industry Awards are nothing if not prestigious. The longest-running accolades in the retail sector covering the independent, convenience and multiple sectors, the awards event is a unique occasion. It is the only time of year when the whole industry gets together to recognise the smallest independent retailers alongside the nation’s largest supermarket groups.
Amongst the judges were Industry analysts and consultants Nielsen, IGD and TNS and the remit was clear, ‘If these awards are to be held up as the ones to win, then we owe it to everybody involved to make sure the winners are truly the best in the land.
The view is that when you win a Retail Industry Award, you know for sure that you’re among the very best in the industry recognised by your peers. To go through that process and come out on top is a huge achievement.
